HOT ROD MAGAZINE 1927 TRACK T ROADSTER

The Track T roadster chassis is a very unique one; Roy Brizio and crew bent a rectangular frame from two pieces of mild-steel plate with a front to-rear taper of 4 to 2 inches. The outer portion of the side rails was formed in a j-shape to give the illusion of a partial belly pan.

We had a tube axle formed  from 2x3/16 inch wall-mild steel. The shocks were placed inboard, and located behind the nose so only the radius rods would show. The rear end was set up with a quick change from Halibrand and then Phil Larricq and crew captured it with an imaginative rear-suspension system. The rims are a set of one-off Boyds aluminum spinners surrounded by BFG rubber.
